Your Privacy – The Official ‘Skirts In Dirt’ Privacy Policy

Skirt In Dirt collects your name and email address when you subscribe to receive our monthly newsletter.

When you voluntarily register to “Become a Skirt” as a free member, Skirts In Dirt requires that you provide certain additional information such as:
First and last name
Email address
State where you reside (or, as is the case with our friends from outside the US, the option of identifying yourself as an ‘International’ member)
We also ask the member to identify how they heard about Skirts In Dirt.

In addition to these required fields, Skirts in Dirt asks members to either ‘opt in’ or ‘opt out’ of receiving general Skirts’ emails and announcements, as well as to ‘opt in’ or ‘opt out’ of receiving information about products and services offered by Skirts’ sponsors.

Additional personal information is requested, but not required, to become a free member of Skirts in Dirt.  This information is collected in order to provide members with the most relevant content possible as well as to compile targeted lists for communications and marketing purposes.  The data requested includes, but is not limited to:

Birth month
Number of years in real estate
Special real estate designations and interests
Position or role
Company name
Phone number, and
Website address  

Understanding member needs and interests helps craft the direction of our ‘conversations’ as well as future website enhancements. 
Skirts In Dirt may, from time to time, contact you about offers that we, or third parties with which we may partner, have that we believe, in our sole discretion, may interest you.

We hate spam as much as you do!  So, whether you’ve signed up to receive our monthly newsletter, or registered to ‘Become a Skirt’, rest assured that we hold all your personally identifiable information in complete confidence at all times.  It will never be rented, sold, leased, traded, or given to any third-party whatsoever.  You’ll never be sent an email unless it comes from Skirts In Dirt directly. 

If you no longer wish to receive emails from us, you may opt-out of receiving these communications at any time by following the instructions contained in the applicable email.   Your unsubscribe request will be processed promptly.  

Non-personal Information
Non-personal information is data about usage and site operation that is not directly associated with a specific personal identity.  Skirts in Dirt may collect and analyze non-personal information to evaluate how visitors use the Skirts In Dirt website.

Skirts In Dirt may gather aggregate information, which refers to information your computer automatically provides to us and that cannot be tied back to you as a specific individual.  Examples include referral data (the web sites you just visited before and just after our site), pages viewed, time spent at our site, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, etc.
