We want to thank Steve Harney for mentioning Skirts in his Wednesday’s Web Gems. Those who know Steve are aware of his mi.shi.on. He encourages you to sweep away old patterns from the past that may have limited you so that you can move forward with more progressive energy. If you get a chance to hear Steve, do so and make sure that you sign up for his Quick Report that gives a simple outlook on this complex market.
Are you trying to decide if you should specialize in one particular market? If you are – you might want to consider the single woman homebuyer. According to Joint Center for Housing Studies:
- More than one in five home buyers is a single woman.
- Twice as many unmarried women are buying homes than single men.
- Single women make up more than one-third of the growth in real estate ownership since 1994.
We also want to introduce you to a new Skirts member Ginny Mees, founder of WomenHomeowners.com. This site connects women buyers with women real estate professionals.
Susan Ireland, one of our guest bloggers posted a tip for managers on Twitter: When coaching, ask what constraints they feel are keeping them from reaching their goals. Gets right to the problem. All managers really should use this coaching tip. Thanks, Susan.
